Now for me, this is a major step forward and one that I'm not going to shy away from on my craft blog even though its not craft related... then again.... it inspired me in another way and helped me with moving on along this journey called breast cancer... I have in the loft a massive box of bras... and I had in two drawers in the bedroom.. 40 bras... yep you read it right, 40, and of those 40 not one of them has actually left the drawer in 4 years... I was holding onto the past, too lacking in so many things to actually do something with them... so I ignored it...
I have something unrelated going on in my life that I can not as of yet discuss... (not cancer or physical illness:-) ) which is pushing me to declutter... I would have probably still had the bras in years to come but have joined a site for support with regards to breast cancer, instead of just discussing it with people who know me.... I have also received an appt for a mammogram and it feels like the time is right to pass the bras onto a better more worthy home.. so a box of them are going http://www.breasttalk.co.uk/bra-appeal/
When I can get my nephew to come in the loft with me, then I will forward the others onto them too...
I looked out into my garden just now and the small tree I have growing in a massive container is budding and has some really fantastic colour leaves coming through.... isnt nature wonderful... made me think of how time doesnt stand still.... time to move on.. :-)

What a fantastic charity. I'm sure they'll be pleased with your 'small' donation. I can't imagine how I'd be or look if I didn't have a bra LOL
